So. much. wax! You would be surprised how many problems with your ears and hearing can be caused by wax buildup in your ears. And it’s totally natural! Some people just make more wax than others, and some people just can’t naturally clear their wax as well as they should so they need a little bit of help! And the ENT is happy to help.
You know what else, surprisingly, causes a lot of ear problems? TMJ! TMJ is inflammation in the jaw joint that can cause ear pain, headaches, and lots of other things you would never think about.
This week I’ve learned that, while ENT is probably not my thing, the issues addressed there are really important to patients’ quality of life! Hearing loss, vertigo, TMJ, sinus issues, etc. impact patients’ lives every day, and it is important that we address their concerns with an eye for detail so that they leave feeling better than when they came!
