You guysssss! I cannot believe I did not finish this book. After Portrait of a Scotsman quickly became one of my favorites, I was so sure I was going to love all the books in this series. But this one fell way short for me! The story seemed super predictable, and after reading 80% of the book and the story taking place in all of 3 settings with the same back and forth between the two main characters, I put it down. I just wasn’t enjoying reading it anymore.

I do love Tristan’s character! He is just the right amount of brooding and sensitive. Lucie’s character isn’t the worst, but she is a little bit cookie cutter “rebel”. I will give the last book in the series a shot, but probably not for a while!
