All Your Perfects

Title: All Your Perfects

Author: Colleen Hoover

Genre: Contemporary romance

Rating: 3.75 out of 5 Stars

This was a really challenging novel for me to like! I did end up enjoying it; the end really saved the book for me. I have found that I am NOT an insta-love kind of girl, and this really felt like that for me (as do several of Queen Hoover’s books). I do love a dual timeline story, but in this situation I might have enjoyed hearing from both Quinn and Graham’s point of view. This book definitely made me examine my own idea of what a “good marriage” should be, and when it might be time to pull the plug. I also found some GREAT wedding vow inspiration in these pages!

Graham and Quinn meet in the most devastating of situations. After having her heart broken by her would-be husband, Quinn swears off love for a while. But, Graham still holds out hope that she will NOT end up as the girl that got away. Fast forward 10 years, and their relationship still hangs in the balance- but for many different, much more complicated reasons. Will love be enough?

I definitely recommend this book for everyone in a serious relationship. It explores some difficult topics, but I really love the way Graham ends up addressing their problems. I never really related too much to Quinn, but it would be hard for anyone who hadn’t gone through this large struggle she goes through to be able to relate.
