I loved this book!! It was so fun and refreshing. One of my favorite things about it was actually the format- it’s written in the style of the narrator, Lora Ricci’s, diary. Interspersed are magazine/newspaper articles, emails, and notes. The variation made it so interesting to read and really hooked me!
Lora Ricci wants to be a writer. She has all the determination and talent she could need, but what she doesn’t have is connections. Or a passing GPA for the scholarship NYU gave her last year. So, when Lora meets Cat Wolff (Austrian heiress and fashion guru), she jumps at the chance to help her write an article for Elle magazine. But…things with Cat are not exactly as they seem. She seems so generous and excited to work with Lora, but she keeps secrets. And these secrets are a doozy.
If you liked the show Inventing Anna, you will love this book! It was interesting and fun and so refreshing- and even has an unexpected twist at the end that I didn’t see coming. I recommend this book to anyone wanting a light-hearted thriller or just a change of pace! Grab it here!
